Cube Thinking hosts UK’s first book launch of Why Care: A celebration of culture, compassion and continuous improvement
- Cube Thinking team
We at Cube Thinking had the pleasure of hosting the UK’s first official launch of Why Care, a book that dives into the importance of building genuine culture and fostering well-being within organisations. Set against the stunning Manchester skyline, the event brought together a vibrant group of 35 engaged leaders, each eager to explore how a people-first approach can drive both impact and profit.
Why Care, co-authored by Chris Butterworth, explores how businesses can act as a force for good by weaving kindness, compassion, and authenticity into every level of their organisation.
Our lineup of five inspiring speakers—including our very own Director, Jason Kingston, as well as Gabriela Hammond and Jennifer Smith from Forbes Solicitors, Stephen Repton from Flowlio, and Chris Butterworth himself—offered insights that sparked meaningful discussions on shaping a culture that values people and purpose.
Each speaker shared their unique take on the power of “culture first” values, reinforcing our belief that businesses truly thrive when they lead with purpose.
Having helped hundreds of organisations embed authentic culture, this launch inherently aligns with Cube Thinking’s core mission and values. This event marked our ongoing commitment to driving success and lasting change by empowering organisations to champion values that matter.
Chris Butterworth’s global perspective and Why Care’s powerful message united a forward-thinking group of leaders, all committed to making business a force for good.
